Cheerleading Class Overview

Before beginning any type of cheerleading activity a stretch out is necessary. The stretch will cover the neck, back, arms, wrists, legs, and ankles. This is very important, because without stretching jumps will not hit the best position possible, plus injuries can occur if they body is not fully stretched.

Following the stretch out, the squad will move on to the following cheer activities:

  • Types of Jumps
  • Cheer Squad Formations
  • Stunting Safety/ Stunting Positions
  • Pom and Dance Routines
  • Cheers and Chants
